Modifications to REC-TEC (02062006)
S-CAM II interface
The interface for Plus Option users has been dramatically upgraded to allow changes to be made to six axles per page for all of the input parameters for the individual axle sides. In addition the user can now see the pushrod force for either the cold stroke or dynamic stroke adjusted for start temperature along with the force necessary to lock the wheel.
Time Distance (EDM) - for Engine Control Module or CDR data
This section has been overhauled. It will now permit individual phases (99) to be removed from the computations. The graphics will show the resulting modifications in a different color on the deceleration curve.
The graphics have been refined along with a provision for calculating for the two unknowns in the D = S * T equation. The graphics will display on the deceleration curve, the first instance of the value for that variable and the corresponding values for the unknowns.
The data generated from this section can then be transferred with a single click of the mouse to the Time Distance Multiple Events section.
Time Distance Multiple Events
Expanded to accept 99 different events in order to utilize the EDM (ECM or CDR data) from the Time Distance (EDM) section.
In addition to breakdowns by any time or distance interval, the section will create a space delimited text file for use by animators in creating real time animations from the Heavy Truck ECM or from the Vetronix CDR output data.
ToolTips
Additional tooltips have been placed at areas where questions have arisen (Critical Turnaway in Time Distance Deceleration).
