Information regarding seminar

This will be three full days of hard work with lots of fun at night.  The hotel is newly renovated and in the heart of the French Quarter.  Many have already confirmed space in the class and will be bringing their wives or guests.  Activities (optional) are planned for the wives/guests during the day.  

Attendees need not own the REC-TEC program as temporary licenses will be made available at no charge.  Attendance will be limited and will be on a first come basis.  When we reach our limit, their will be no additional reservations accepted.  Reserving a place in the class will be by registration fee.  

The hotel will extend the $139.00 rate for the weekend for those wishing to stay and play.  New Orleans is a fun place with lots of charm and diverse activities including gambling, world class food, Plantation tours, Voodoo tours, Swamp tours, and Garden District tours.

Information regarding seminar

This will be a one-week class on Trucks, Trucks, Trucks.  

A week of advanced Heavy Trucks will be taught by Dick Radlinski, Ron Heusser, Dave Stopper, Steve McKinzie, John Ruller, and George Bonnett.

Topics Include:

Brake components - Identification, Forensic Failure Analysis, Evolution of the FMVSS and FMCSR regulations (Radlinski & Stopper), Electronic Data Modules, New paper on Brake Application Times (McKinzie & Ruller),  Evolution of new Brake formulae and Force charts (Heusser), DISC/S-Cam computer module with advanced Matrix component (Heusser & Bonnett), Load Check (A&B), Rollovers (Static & Dynamic), Weight and Balance, Off Tracking, Collision Avoidance, and an open Group discussion with the presenters on any topics of interest to the attendees.
